Electrolytic Polishing Corrosion Analyzer uses electrochemical principles for the preparation of metallographic samples. The equipment can be used not only for the polishing of metallographic specimens but also for the corrosion of metallographic specimens. It has the advantages of fast sample preparation, good repeatability, no deformation layer with mechanical processing, etc. It is a non-ferrous metal specimen, steel, especially stainless steel. Working principle

The principle of electrolytic polishing is now debated by people from all walks of life in the world. The theory is mainly that the metal ions separated from the workpiece and the phosphoric acid in the polishing solution form a layer of phosphate film adsorbed on the surface of the workpiece. The mucous membrane is thinner at the protrusion and the recess is thicker because the current density at the protrusion is high. The solution dissolves quickly, with the mucous membrane flowing, the bump changes, and the rough surface is gradually leveled.
